If your virus scan has identified a virus by name but is not able to clean the virus from your computer. You will
need to perform a manual removal. If a manual process exists, Symantec will have the instructions to fix it.

Current and Past Virginia Tech Threats
New viruses come out every day. As soon as we have information about a new virus, it is posted to the AntiVirus web site.
To clean a general virus problem, please follow the
steps under the Clean It Up section of the AntiVirus page.
To clean a specific virus follow the directions you found above searching Symantec or the ones you find listed below.
If you can not find any information
about your virus you will simply need to wait until a fix is posted on the AntiVirus page or the
Symantec Site.
