W32.Magistr@mm Worm

The W32.Magistr@mm worm has appeared at Virginia Tech. This code spreads through e-mail attachments. The worm searches your computer for e-mail addresses to which it can send itself. If a computer is infected long enough, damage can include BIOS and CMOS damage that will make the machine inoperable. Norton AntiVirus updated with the latest virus definitions will prevent infection. More information and removal instructions are here:
